This session will highlight how Digital Climate Advisory Services (DCAS+) provide a promising solution to help Myanmar’s agricultural sector adapt to the growing impacts of climate change—such as erratic weather patterns and reduced crop productivity. By delivering timely, localised climate information, DCAS+ empowers farmers to make informed decisions and build resilience. Integrated as part of Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA), DCAS+ can be implemented independently or in combination with Long-Term Agroecological Cropping (LTAC) practices. Despite its potential, key challenges—such as limited digital literacy, inadequate connectivity, and institutional coordination gaps—must be addressed to maximize the reach and effectiveness of DCAS+.
